Northern Dance Academy has a simple goal - to offer the highest quality dance instruction, while keeping the atmosphere fun and inviting. We are dedicated to the art of dance, and strive for well trained, educated dancers, with a strong mind, body, and character.

With a passion for dance and a desire to help each student reach beyond what they thought possible, owners Jennifer Hibbard and Rana Sterzinger began in the summer of 2002, running out of a daycare center in Oconto Falls, WI. By the fall of 2002, they moved into a small building on Main Street in Oconto Falls. Since then, Northern Dance Academy moved to Green Bay and has been growing consistently ever since. In the fall of 2007, Northern Dance Academy opened the doors to their brand new state-of-the-art dance facility that is quickly becoming known throughout Wisconsin as THE place for dance instruction.

In addition to a staff of highly trained instructors with a strong background in both teaching and performing, Northern Dance Academy routinely brings in guest artists from all over the country – many of whom are former NDA dancers themselves – to teach special workshops and intensives.

Their philosophy is simple: give dancers quality education that builds their skills in an environment that fosters fun, creativity, and a feeling of community. While other studios focus on business, Northern Dance Academy focuses on the dancer. Hibbard and Sterzinger have found great success with this philosophy and find that by focusing on each individual student’s needs, they will not just have amazing dancers, they’ll have lifelong members of the Northern Dance Academy family.
